Low-Temperature Construction | Building Asia-Level Cold Chain Logistics

2018-08-23 Track Record

The Kunming Baoxiang Wanton Cold Chain Port project is a strategic collaboration between Wanhua Energysav Group and Wuhan Wanton Cold Storage & Logistics Co., Ltd., positioning itself as the “One Flagship, Three Centers” for cold chain logistics in Yunnan Province. This initiative aims to establish the largest frozen food logistics hub in Southwest China and create three demonstration and experience centers for Yunnan’s wild mushrooms, aquatic products/seafood, and fruits/vegetables.

Spanning approximately 46.67 hectares (700 mu) with a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan, the project will reach a construction scale of 700,000 square meters. Upon completion, it will become the largest “Internet+”-enabled modern cold chain logistics hub along the Southwest “Belt and Road,” integrating functions such as cold storage and trading, cold chain distribution, imported food exhibition and experience, central kitchens, green food processing, bonded logistics, railway ports, food inspection and quarantine, and supply chain finance. It will also serve as a tourism and leisure destination, solidifying its status as one of Asia’s largest cold chain logistics hubs.

Wanhua provided the Kunming Baoxiang Wanton project with high-quality, high-standard integrated services, leveraging its rigorous quality control, professional construction teams, and premium polyurethane materials.

While ensuring engineering quality, strengthen the management and control of engineering safety and personnel safety to ensure zero harm; effectively implement safety education for every on-site construction worker; enhance safety warnings and promote safety protection awareness.
