Low-Temperature Construction | Qingdao Bonded Port Zone International Cold Chain Logistics Center
The Qingdao Bonded Port Zone International Cold Chain Logistics Center project, initiated by Baron International Group, is a collaborative venture with the Qingdao Bonded Port Zone, China Merchants Group, Shandong Port Group, and the Central Union Food Security Association. Integrated with 36 bonded zones across China, it stands as the nation’s largest and most technologically advanced international multi-level cold chain food hub. The facility combines customs inspection and clearance, bonded storage and processing, logistics distribution, supply chain finance, exhibition and trading, brand value enhancement, and industrial tourism. This project fills a historic gap in international food and cross-border commodity platforms for China’s Jiangbei region and will reshape the cold chain logistics landscape in northern China. Once operational, it will pioneer a new era of multi-tiered cold chain services, enabling consumers to access global safe food products seamlessly from home.
The project requires the construction of multi-story cold storage facilities with a capacity of hundreds of thousands of tons, spanning all temperature ranges. From the initial bidding phase, Wanhua Energysav Group prioritized this project, rigorously optimizing the budget, selecting the most efficient construction plans, and deploying its most skilled teams. After two rounds of competitive bidding and on-site evaluations of ongoing projects, Wanhua emerged as the preferred contractor—a testament to its technical prowess, industry reputation, and proven execution capabilities.
Guided by the principle of “Pursuing Benefits for All, Building a Legacy for Generations,” Wanhua Energysav Group remains steadfast in its mission to “Strive for Excellence, Conserve for a Better Future.” With the determination to scale new heights, the focus to stay unshaken by challenges, and the perseverance to achieve the impossible, the company continues to contribute to China’s cold chain logistics infrastructure, reinforcing its role as a leader in sustainable and innovative construction solutions.
