Recently, Wanhua Energysav Group participated in the main structure topping-out ceremony of the Weichai (Yantai) New Energy Industrial Park project. With a total investment of 56 billion yuan and covering approximately 283 hectares (1,700 mu), this project, a major initiative in Shandong Province, is jointly invested and constructed by Weichai Power (a subsidiary of Shandong Heavy Industry Group) and BYD—both Fortune Global 500 companies. It aims to build a research and manufacturing base for the entire industrial chain of new energy commercial vehicle power batteries, motors, electronic controls, and electric drive systems. The project holds significant importance for realizing Yantai’s goal of becoming a central city in the Bohai Rim region, accelerating the city’s green and low-carbon transition, and establishing a model city for high-quality green and low-carbon development.
